CASSA offers art therapy sessions to men and women, as well as studio art experiences in drawing, painting, fused glass, mixed media sculpture, fiber arts, photography, computer graphics and music.
CASSA Arts Workshop  2014 - 2015
The CASSA Arts Workshop under the direction of Ruth Stenstrom, ATR-BC combines a program of art studio experiences, art therapy and bi-weekly trips to area art museums.  Nisha Tracy, a recent graduate of the George Washington University Graduate Art Therapy program and two GWU art therapy interns, Rachel Crawford and Katherine Tucker assisted with the program.

CASSA is funded in part by the  the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities, an agency supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.

In addition museum trips were taken to the National Museum of the American Indian, the National Gallery of Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Botannical Gardens, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the National Portrait Gallery,  the African Art Museum, the Hirshhorn Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian Folklife Festival.
