City Arts Exhibits
From 1998-2002, the CASSA Arts Workshop and the Lorton Art Program began a collaboration of four City Arts Exhibits. Showcases of artwork from these programs were seen in 1- 2 month long exhibits at the Martin Luther King Memorial Library in downtown Washington, DC and were also exhibited at the National Children’s Medical Center. Guest artists Terence Nicholson, Luther Phillips and Harold Moss were also featured in several of the exhibits. The exhibits were named in honor of the City Arts Program of the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities which has provided significant funding and support to both organizations.
