CASSA Arts Workshop in its 27th Year
 
CASSA--The Clean and Sober Streets Arts Workshop

Under the direction of Ruth Stenstrom, ATR-BC, art therapist and art teacher, CASSA provides a combination of therapeutic and  arts instruction in a studio workshop environment with a variety of media including drawing, painting, digital photography, silkscreen, music composition, computer graphics and multi-media sculpture. She is assisted by art therapist Nisha Tracy and art therapy interns from George Washington University--Kiyoko Timmons and Amanda Wise. CASSA is located in the Federal City Shelter for the Homeless in downtown Washington, DC.
